Resistance Welding

• Most commonly used with spot welding to accommodate a wide range of materials and thicknesses (from 0.5 – 5.0mm).
• AMPCOLOY® 972 (CuCrZr), AMPCOLOY® 95 or AMPCOLOY® 88 are used specifically for the production of radiators for central house heating, welding caps, welding wheels for stainless-steel water sinks.
• AMPCOLOY® 95 or AMPCOLOY® 88 are also both used for resistance welding of concrete wire mesh in other applications.

Resistance welding’s high speed and reliability mean it’s well-suited to mass production across a wide range of industries, including white goods, automotive, heating and ventilation, aerospace and construction.
