Description

AMS-4881 is nickel aluminium bronze similar to AMS 4880, but with an additional heat treatment process that improves its mechanical properties and strength to weight ratio. It was initially developed as an aircraft specification alloy, but has grown in use because of its exceptional higher mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, combined with corrosion-resistant properties.
Best used
For heavy loads abrasion, friction and deformation at high temperature.

Mechanical properties.
